Such beauty cannot be found anywhere else. Kolsai Lakes are 3 alpine lakes, which are located between the heights of 1700 - 2650 m. The 3 lakes are extremely transparent and located in an idyllic place surrounded by massive rocks and mountains with snow caps and wooded slopes. These lakes are located in the eastern part of the picturesque Kungey Tau gorge, 300 km from Almaty. You will see all the beauty of nature, breathe in the fresh mountain air, enjoy the peace and quiet, admire the light clouds reflecting on the surface of the lakes, and the enchanting panorama of the mountain landscape.
Assy plateau is located at an altitude of 2800-3200 meters. You will be surprised by the magnificent view when you reach the Assy Pass: an incredibly huge green valley with pearls of white yurts and distant herds of sheep and horses. Since ancient times, it has been used as a pasture. Scientists have found here the remains of ancient people who lived more than 5000 years ago.
Another attraction of Assa is the astronomical observatory, one of the largest in Kazakhstan, its huge dome is visible from every point of the valley.
Turgen Gorge in Ili-Alatau National Park is an ideal place to enjoy the beauty of nature. In the gorge you can visit waterfalls, trout farms. Rafting on the river (3-4 km) is also possible, horseback riding is also possible.

Day 1

Meeting with a guide in Almaty and transfer for a city tour.
The sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, named after the 28 guardsmen from Almaty, who heroically defended Moscow from the Nazi invasion in 1941. Next stops will be the tallest wooden church in the world, Zenkov Cathedral, Green Bazaar and Central Mosque. We will drive through the main modern sights of the city: the futuristic Al-Farabi Street, the Presidential Palace and the Independence Monument.
Transfer to the Medeo gorge, where we will have a short stop at the huge Medeo dam, which protects the city from destructive mudflows that formed on the peaks of the western Tien Shan.
A trip to Shymbulak from Medeo by cable car.
Moving to Mount Kok-Tobe, which is the highest point in the city, located at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level, where the highest television tower in the world is located. An amazing panorama of the mountains and the city opens from the top.

Day 2

05:50 Arrival in Taraz.

Transfer to Akyrtobe (65 km, 1 hour)
After lunch, city tour of Taraz. It will include visits to the following attractions:
- Regional Museum with an impressive collection of balbals (stone sculptures);
- Mausoleum of Karakhan and Dautbek;
- medieval bath Kali Yunus. Here are the exhibits of the Silk Road Cities Museum.
- Tekturmas complex, which is located on the top of a hill, near the Talas River.
After the city tour you will go to the village of Tulkubas, next to the Aksu-Zhabagly nature reserve.
On the way visit the Mausoleums of Aisha Bibi and Babaji Khatun.
20.00 arrival at Tulkubas.

Day 3

Drive to the Aksu-Zhabagly nature reserve.
It is the oldest and most famous nature reserve in Central Asia. It is located on the Talas Alatau and Ugam-Maidantal ridges, in the western part of the Tien Shan mountains. The name of the reserve is formed from the names of its two largest rivers - Aksu and Zhabagly. Aksu-Zhabagly is included in the list of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO.
Trekking (or this excursion can be on horseback) in the Kishi-Kaindy tract (picnic during the excursion). Walking around Kishi Kaindy is interesting and easily accessible. The length of the route is about 7 km. The excursion road meanders on the slope along the Zhabagly River and gives an idea of ​​the beautiful panorama of the spacious river valley. Lunch break during the excursion.
Return to the guest house.
Dinner. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 4

09.00 Excursion along the Aksu river (picnic during the excursion). Aksu canyon will leave you a vivid impression. This is the deepest canyon in Eurasia, its depth is from 300 to 500 meters, the distance between the edges is about 1 km. The canyon is beautiful at any time of the year.
Lunch during the excursion.
Return to the guest house.
Dinner at the guest house and departure to Shymkent (90 km, 2 hours)

Day 5

A short tour of the city of Shymkent.
The city tour will start with a visit to the local bazaar (small bazaar) and the history museum.
Drive to Turkestan (170 km, about 2 hours)
On the way visit the mausoleum of Arystan Bab and the ruins of the city of Otrar.
According to legends, Arystan Bab, a religious mystic, was the laureate of Muhammad's persimmon stone. Khoja Ahmed Yassaui was his student. Arystan Bab lived for over 400 years.
Arrival to Turkestan.
Drive to Sauran.
Walk through the historical monuments of old Sauran.
On the way back to Shymkent visit the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yassaui.
Return to Shymkent.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Almaty at 21:50.
23:05 Arrival in Almaty. Transfer to the hotel. End of the tour.
